*IMPORTANT* Home Learning Information - Spring Term 2021
Microsoft Teams: Key Stage 1 and 2
Every pupil in Year 1-6 has access to Microsoft Teams, where assignments are set, videos can be watched and completed tasks can be submitted. Staff also have access so that they can provide lessons in the form of recorded lessons, arrange class meetings, and provide feedback to pupils. There is also space for pupils to chat in typed messages on the class posts section, which is monitored by school staff.
Tapestry: Early Years
The parents of all pupils in Foundation Stage have access to their child’s Tapestry account, where activities will be set, videos will be uploaded and completed tasks can be submitted. Staff will communicate with parents and carers through the usual means, and will review all submitted learning. Work will include daily phonics teaching, number work and activities designed for children to learn through play and exploration in their home setting.
All pupils not attending school will also be expected to use their Sumdog online maths platform and Bug Club (Years R-3) or Reading Plus (Years 4-6) online reading platforms daily. Use will be monitored by staff.
